Will Writing Services

Every year millions of people die without making a Will. If you die without a valid Will your money and property may not pass to the people you want it to.

Married couples and Civil Partners should not assume their spouses will receive everything as assets may have to be shared with children. Unmarried partners receive nothing as of right. If you own a house it may have to be sold even if your spouse/partner still lives there.

So, why have a Will?

The reasons you should make a Will, and review a Will at least every 5 years are:

  • Safeguard the family home
  • Married/Civil Partners do not automatically inherit everything
  • Unmarried partners inherit nothing
  • Make provision for children or vulnerable people
  • Prevent family disputes
  • Minimise any taxes payable
  • Choose who you wish to inherit your assets

We offer all of our new clients a free and no obligation initial consultation, often attending our new clients at their homes. Contact us today for advice relating to a new Will or updating an existing Will on 01652 802032, by email at elaine@adeptlaw.co.uk.
